WSDWTF 2008---The 9th China International Water Supply,Drainage and Water Treatment Exhibition has been successfully held in the Intex Sahnghai and Shanghai Mart, April 27-29.2008.

Totally, the 3 day show has attracted 689 exhibitors, including 289 international exhibitors from the USA, Canada, Germany, UK, Italy, France, Austria, Sweden, Spain, Denmark, Czech Republic, the Netherlands, Israel, Australia, Korea, Japan, Singapore, India, China Taiwan, China Hong Kong and etc,to participate the exhibition ,Besides, A number of high valued visitors left a deep impression on the exhibitors. The three-day exhibition attracted 29,180 visitors from 56 countries and regions, including 2685 visitors from overseas.

Formed in 1928, the Water Environment Federation (WEF) is a not-for-profit technical and educational organization with more than 34,000 individual members and 81 affiliated Member Associations representing an additional 50,000 water quality professionals throughout the world. WEF and its member associations proudly work to achieve our mission of preserving and enhancing the global water environment.

* UBIFRANCE Pavilion

Being the French Agency for International Business Development, UBIFRANCE mission is to strengthen technical and business co-operation between France and its partners world-wide. Capitalizing on its resources and those of the network of the Economic Departments of French Embassies abroad, the Agency offers French companies a full range of products and services designed to support them in their efforts to penetrate foreign markets. To promote French products, services and technical expertise, UBIFRANCE organises group participation for French companies as well as other promotional activities, and also arranges multi-sector exhibitions of French technology and presentations of French products abroad.

* Swedish Embassy Pavilion
In order to introduce Swedish environmental policy, technology and management solutions in China, The Swedish International Development Agency (SIDA)is financing the new center for Environmental Technology(CENTEC) in Beijing, As a platform for communication on environmental technology issues between China and Sweden,CENTEC arranges high-level delegation visits in both directions, organizes seminars and workshops on relevant themes, participates in exhibitions and conferences identify relevant demonstration projects and facilitate the creation of financial solutions.

* Korea Environmental Preservation Association Pavilion

Established in 1978 under the authority of article 38 of the Basic Environmental Policy Act.KEPA contributes to the development of healthy environment in Korea through research, survey, technical development, education and public information on the preservation of environment.

* Consorzio Itasia Industrial Relations

Consorzio Italasia, a non profit body, was born with the specific aim of supporting the commercial penetration and industrial co-operation of Italian SMEs in the Asian countries, in particular those belonging to the ASEAN group The multisectorial consortium takes part to the main international fairs in Asia and also organizes autonomous events and entrepreneurial missions with business-matching meetings.

During the post event survey, we found that 90% exhibitors have achieved at least one contract and few potential business partners, and 65% exhibitors confirmed that they will continue to participate the CWS 2009; 80% of visitors said they have found the products they are looking for; 95% visitors said they are looking forward to coming to visit CWS 2009.
